2015 Extra Mile Award Dinner
Nick’s Place in Edinboro welcomed the 2015 Extra Mile Award (EMA) Recipients, their guests and members of PAECT on April 9th. For the 23rd year, educators in NW Region of PAECT nominated peers who have “gone the extra mile to encourage and support technology for teaching and learning”. Following a delicious buffet dinner, each of the EMA recipients were introduced by their nominator who shared how they have gone that extra mile.
Gifts and a certificate were given to the recipients and door prizes were awarded. Additionally, the name of the winner of the participation give-away was drawn. The winner of her choice of prizes was Sarah Eckstein from PENNCREST.
It is always wonderful to meet and hear about the work of the EMA winners. Keep your eyes open for those people around you (teacher, administrator, aide, support personnel, community member) who are supporting and encouraging technology for learning. Who knows…maybe someone will see YOU going the extra mile and nominate you in 2016.
Congratulations to the 2015 Extra Mile Award Recipients
